QotD: Cell Phone Behavior
A recent study suggests that radiation from cell phones may cause cancer; what, if any, cell phone usage precautions will you take in light of this information?
Submitted by Tim.
Under threat of violence, I will force complete strangers to make and receive my calls.
Seriously, life is killing us; if it's not one thing or another. Don't drink this, don't eat that, stay away from whatever.
People with a cell phone constantly glued to their ear while driving and dining and such will be the first victims! What in Gord's can they talk about all day long.
I say thin the gene pool.
Comments
1. Cell phones are useful.
2. Cell phones may or may not pose a danger.
3. Cell phone users need to learn some manners.
Yes, I admit they are useful.
On a recent journey out of state with my sisters, stuck in an airport for twelve hours awaiting a storm passing, they came in handy for sure.
I don't own one, nor feel the need to but that could change who knows... I'd rather not have one. I actually make calls via my Mac with MagicJack.
Manners!
If you have to work with people you likely know where I am going with this one.
Don't you just love it when someone grabs a call in the middle of your business?
How about when people are screaming their business on the cell when you are stuck sitting with them in public? Have you yet seen anyone slam into a door or wall while blabbing a way on the cell? I have! Pathetic...
I rest my case...
Cell phone users, we love you. But please get a clue!
